CEA 2018

Just returned from a great trip to the Canadian Economics Association Meetings in Montreal. I presented my paper “The Tax-Spending Nexus: Canadian  Provincial Evidence” with Wayne Simpson (Manitoba) at a great session chaired by Bev Dahlby (Calgary). Big thanks to Marcelin Joanis (Polytechnique Montreal) for amazing comments as the discussant on the paper!!

New Institutional Economics

With the semester over I figured I’d post the course outline for my recently completed Honours/Grad course in New Institutional Economics. I will definitely update it over the coming months to try and incorporate new papers and topics, so if any of you work/teach in this area and have suggestions please get in touch! Thanks!
